The mission

FELIX Kitchen&Bar is more than just a restaurant: it is a full-fledged contemporary art space. It is traditional, yet modern, passionate about premium gastronomy, bar culture, quality ingredients and art.

Fortune, harmony, liberty are all part of the name, and Felix is with us more than ever.


FELIX Kitchen&Bar named after Miklós Ybl’s only son, Felix, evokes the legendary past in our contemporary times.

The heart of the pumping station was the boiler room, formerly the exhibition space of the Ybl Buda Creative House. Today it bears the name AQVA and has evolved into a community scene that embraces both gastronomy and contemporary art.

The aim of our periodically renewed art exhibition is to reach and address a wider audience - not only experts and amateurs of art - through collaborations with various artists, gallerists and art collectors.


The first fine art selection of the AQVA Art Collection, in co-operation with acb Gallery, pays homage to the history of the house and to the river Danube. Water, the beginning and source of everything, from which any shape can be born, and into which all shapes return one day. This symbolism is based on the simple experience that there is no life without water.

Our motto is: The Art of Sharing. As well as our food and our lives, art is equally a joy to share.



All the classic favorites and exotic ingredients found on the FELIX Kitchen&Bar menu - but one thing is common: we don’t compromise in our quality.

Dishes are rooted in Hungarian tradition and follow international trends - in every meal of the day.

The exclusive ingredients are provided by vendors representing the highest quality standards, shipping their products from local farms but also from Parisian, Japanese and Australian producers. Our exceptional food selection is complemented by an outstanding bar offering more than 400 different liquors and almost 350 types of wine.

The team

In FELIX's gastronomic mission, teamwork plays a key role - as independent work can be completed only by a really good team.

In 2021, we employed a real french big gun, the master chef  Jeremy Cayron, who, after conquering Baku, Cairo, Bangkok, Berlin, Montreal and Wellington, is now here and is the new highlight of the gastronomic life of Budapest. Inspired by his experience in the top restaurants in the world, his aim is to give his guests a personal, eternal experience with his dishes.

We raised the stakes big time this year, we have on board with us the first hungarian sommelier who has made history - we are proud to present Tamás Czinki, our wine and champagne selection has fallen into the best hands.

We are also proud to present Petar Loncar on board, who is coming from the iconic Dorchester Hotel and the Arts Club London, and is responsible for the overall guest experience and the exceptional quality.

Finally, András Ódor, the professional representative of Black Swan, is still responsible for the progressive bar and outstanding cocktails.

Operating hours of outdoor dining for all and indoor dining for immunity card holders is from 11.30 - 23.00.

Try out our FELIX Weekend Brunch specials on every Saturday and Sunday (and on national holidays) between 10:30 and 16:00!

From 16.00 to 18.00 please join us for aperitivo hours. While our kitchen team is preparing to deliver your impeccable dinner experience, a carefully curated cocktail menu will be complemented by selection of aperitivo style seasonal bites and your all time favourite Golden baked pastry.
